War Tanks^{(Days of Ruin)} or Mega Tanks^{(Dark Conflict)} are the highest tier of tank in Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. They have the worst mobility of the three tanks, but offer the best offense.

War Tanks are initially introduced in Fear Experiment, and become buildable in Hope Rising, making them the final unit type the player gains access to.

A War Tank in Days of Ruin.

War Tanks are extremely difficult to destroy, as most units won't deal much damage. On a high defense terrain tile, it may become even more difficult.

Anti-Tanks and other War Tanks are the best ground units for dealing with a War Tank. They are also vulnerable to Bombers, Seaplanes, Battle Copters, and Battleships.

• Like the Megatank in Advance Wars: Dual Strike, the War Tank in Advance Wars: Days of Ruin seems to be based on the Soviet T-35 Heavy Tank.
