War Funds should not be confused with Coins from the first Advance Wars Game.
War Funds (Also known as Currency, Gold, Funds, F. or G.) are the currency used in the Advance Wars Games.
Obtaining
During a battle, players earn War Funds at the beginning of the day for each Building that they earn, although this amount is set at 1000 in Campaign, on Versus Maps the amount is determined by the players beforehand.
In Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising and Advance Wars: Dual Strike, a player earns a certain amount of War Funds by completing Campaign and Battle Maps.
In Advance Wars: Days of Ruin the maximum amount of war funds that can be held at once is 999,999.
Uses
While in battle War Funds has several uses. It can be used to buy Units, as well as repair/refuel them while on the relevant Building.
Outside of battles War Funds can be used in the shop, to buy new COs, Maps and other extra features.
