Mission Information[]

This is the first level of Field Training in Advance Wars and it contains only two enemy units. Before the battle begins the player (appointed adviser for Orange Star's army) meets Nell, the Supreme Commander of Orange Star's forces. She explains that Orange Star and Blue Moon are at war and that Olaf, the ruler of Blue Moon is spearheading the assault on the Alara region, where the first mission takes place, and tasks them with driving the invaders out.

Strategy[]

The entire mission is essentially a tutorial and is extremely straightforward. Even when going for an S, Nell guides your movements steadily so it's near impossible to get anywhere below an S Rank.
