The Great Owl(Days of Ruin) or The Pulsatrix(Dark Conflict) is a massive bomber created and operated by IDS.
In Chapter 22, The Great Owl, it bombs the center of the map beyond recognition. In Chapter 23, Sacrificial Lamb, it starts directly bombing your forces, and does so for about 3 days (game time) but then retreats due to Isabella agreeing to go with Caulder. In Chapter 24, Crash Landing, you must fight Penny and the IDS army on top of The Great Owl. In Dark Conflict, the battle is said to be inside the aircraft, though level graphics still suggest it is on top of it. The fight damages the fuselage of The Great Owl, causing it to crash.
