Mission Information

This is the sixth level of Field Training in Advance Wars. This mission contains eight enemies. This level is simply a test of the skills you have learned so far. The Medium Tank is introduced in this level as a troop commanded by Olaf.

Strategy

The mission is a tutorial and has you using the skills learned in the past 5 tutorial stages. You should attempt to get the cities under your HQ as well as the three located in the center of the map. Nell doesn’t give you any guidance during this level as it is ment to be a skill test for the player. It it recommended to focus your efforts on the center forces by using your tank and mech unit to destroy the enemy quickly. Use your artillery to defeat the enemy mech units which may try to cross the mountains. It is recommended to block the MDTank with your own tank to stall it so you may capture the enemy HQ however you can destroy it through a combination of sacrificing your tank and APC, while using your artillery to hit it.
