Spann Island is the first map in the first three games' War Rooms. In Advance Wars 1 the player faces off against Olaf. In Advance Wars 2 and Advance Wars DS, the player faces off against Andy.
Changes
In Advance Wars DS the neutral city at (9,9) was changed to an Orange Star base.
