New Allies^{(Days of Ruin)} or A New Ally^{(Dark Conflict)} is the fifth mission of Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. It introduces properties such as the Headquarters, City, and Factory, War Funds, and repairing units to the player.

Story

During a search in an unusually preserved city, the 12th Battalion comes across another town called New Wolfington, led by Dr. Morris, who welcomes them. Brenner asks for supplies, but their discussion is cut short by another intrusion from the tenacious Beast.

Strategy

Once again you are outnumbered and outmanned. Even worse, you're out on the plains and road. However, this time, you have access to a factory. Your goal here should be to capture the single factory and the surrounding cities. Fortunately, the Beast will not send all of his units at once, so let them come to you. If you can, try to hinder any of their capture attempts. You'll want to make plenty of tanks before charging in, and keep in mind that you are the only one with the factory.
