In the Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, levels are added. Usually, every time an allied unit destroys an opponent's unit, nothing happens. Now in Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, levels are earned when an ally destroys and opponent's unit. These are the levels.
- Level I
- Level II
- Level V
- Medal
There are different requirements for each Level. To earn Level I, an ally must destroy one enemy unit. To earn Level II, an ally must destroy 2 enemy units. To earn Level V, an ally must destroy 3 or more units. To earn Medal, you need the CO on board, but provides the same boosts as Level V. Each Level provides different boosts.
- Level I: +5 Attack
- Level II: +10 Attack
- Level V: +20 Attack and Defense
- Medal: +20 Attack and Defense
You can determine what the enemy is by the icon on the unit. It would be a I, a II, or a V each representing their appropriate level. In the following picture, the Battle Copter from the 12 Battalion and the Battle Copter from the Bandit Raiders both have Level I.
