General
Kanbei is a CO of Yellow Comet. He is the father of Sonja and the emperor of Yellow Comet. He is somewhat hotheaded. He deeply cares for his daughter and is a bit overprotective of her. In all of his appearances, his ability was making all of his units more powerful, but a cost, made them more expensive (perhaps he buys golden bullets and armor?). In every Advance Wars title his units have good offence and defence. He was taught by Sensei.

All Kanbei's units have the offence and defence of 120%, but they also cost 20% more to deploy, due to the golden armor and weapons he buys for them.

Morale Boost - Increases the firepower of all Kanbei's Units by 17%.
Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising
CO abilities
All Kanbei's units have the offence and defence of 130%, but their price is also 20% higher. Again, this is probably due to his golden bullets and golden samurai armor.

Samurai Spirit - Increases the firepower of Kanbei's Units to 150%. Their defence rises to 160%. Firepower doubles when inflicting damage in counter attacks.

All Kanbei's units have the offence and defence of 120%, but they also cost 20% more to deploy. (He has been hit by the recession and must cut back on the amount of gold that he uses, but he is still a formidable foe!)

Morale Boost - Increases the offence of Kanbei's Units to 160%. They also get a defence bonus of 10%.
Super CO power
Samurai Spirit - Increases the offence and defence of Kanbei's Units to 160%. Firepower doubles when inflicting damage in counter attacks.
