The Bombers from each Force in AW2.

Bombers are an Air Unit. They have appeared in every Advance Wars game to date. They are very powerful and can inflict massive damage to Land and Naval Units, they cannot however attack other Air Units.

Bombers in Game Boy Wars 3, instead of carpet bombing, actually attack the terrain, hitting its new location and all adjacent spaces, as well as damaging--possibly killing--any surface units, allied or enemy, caught in the blast. They can not counterattack at all. The carpet Bombers in Game Boy Wars 3 are Attackers.

Trivia

• The Orange Star bomber resembles the American B-52 Stratofortress, but with only four engines instead of eight due to design. The Rubinelle bomber is also a B-52, having all eight engines.
• The Blue Moon bomber resembles the Britich Avro Vulcan xh558. However, in real life the Vulcan has onl 3 wing instead of 5
• The Green Earth bomber resembles the British Hawker Siddley Nimrod.
• The Yellow Comet bomber strangely resembles the American B-17 Flying Fortress but with jet engines intead of propellers.
• The Lazurian and IDS bombers resemble the Russian Tu-22M Backfire.
