Everyone is able to view and make edits to pages on the Advance Wars wiki, with or without a Wikia account.
A number of special user roles also exist on Wikia with more advanced rights and features in order to help prevent spam and vandalism. Below is a description of these rights along with the local users in these groups.
Bureaucrats

Bureaucrats are one level 'up' from Administrators. In addition to having all administrative powers, Bureaucrats also have the ability to manipulate user rights. Bureaucrats are labeled as such on their profile pages. Promoting new users to Bureaucrat requires community agreement and discussion.

Administrators

Administrators are trusted users who are generally chosen by the community and have access to the following tools:

Content Moderators

Content Moderators are users who have additional tools available to moderate parts of the community that host the Wiki’s content. These tools are:

Discussions Moderators are users who have additional tools available to manage conversations in various features across the community where users are having social discussions. These tools are:

Chat Moderators
|
Chat moderators have no special powers on the wiki itself, but they have moderator access on the wiki's Discord. Chat Moderators are labeled as such on their profile pages.

Rollback
|
Rollback is a feature and also a user group right that helps fight against Vandalism. All users are able to revert an article to an earlier version, but users with Rollback permission, Administrators, and Bureaucrats have a fast, automated tool to help them.
