Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is a remake of Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising, and the fifth game in the Advance Wars Series of games. It is also the first Advance Wars game to release on the Nintendo Switch platform, and in a departure from previous installments, it is produced by developer WayForward. The key differences between Re-Boot Camp and the original games are the new art style, re-recorded soundtrack, and the use of 3D graphics.
Re-Boot Camp is confirmed to have online functionality, being the second game in the series to do so after Days Of Ruin, though the extent of said online functionality is unconfirmed. It is unknown whether the designs and abilities of COs are based off of their Advance Wars 1 incarnation, Advance Wars 2 incarnation, or a combination of both. Similarly, it is unknown if the two included games are included separately or as one whole game.
