The Advance Wars series is a series of turn-based strategy video games developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. To date there are four games in the series released in the Western Hemisphere: Advance Wars, Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising, Advance Wars: Dual Strike and Advance Wars: Days of Ruin/Dark Conflict.

In Japan it is known as both "Famicom Wars" and "Game Boy Wars" where it includes several installments unreleased in the West: Famicom Wars, Super Famicom Wars, Game Boy Wars, Game Boy Wars TURBO, Game Boy Wars 2, and Game Boy Wars 3.
