Omega Land
Omega Land is the third continent of Wars World, first appearing in Advance Wars: Dual Strike.
History[]
After suffering a major defeat and the loss of its original leader in the Macro Land conflict, the remnant of the Black Hole army was taken over by the ancient CO Von Bolt and his Bolt Guard cohorts. Using the Black Obelisk and Black Crystals to drain energy from Wars World itself, combined with other new technologies and weapons of war, Von Bolt restored the Black Hole army and invaded Omega Land. In contrast with Sturm's goals of conquest, Von Bolt subjugated Omega Land to drain its energy uninterrupted with the aim of using it on himself to become immortal. However, this process of energy draining converted vast areas of Omega Land into deserts and poisoned the seas.
Upon learning of Black Hole's latest attack, the Allied Nations, formed by Orange Star, Blue Moon, Green Earth, and Yellow Comet after the Macro Land campaign, sent troops to liberate Omega Land and prevent its destruction. After a long campaign, and the defection of Black Hole COs Hawke and Lash to the Allied Nations due to the Bolt Guard treating Black Hole's forces as expendable and wielding them recklessly, Von Bolt was defeated and apprehended. The Black Obelisk was also destroyed, releasing its stolen energy back into Omega Land, which began to slowly recover.
